The Light Of Our Life = Her Face

August 1, 2007

Rainy & warm today in Kostanai, unfortunately Norah has a little cold. She feels a bit warm with gookies coming out of her nose, but we know she is in good hands at the Baby House; they will take good care of her. It is becoming quite painful to leave her each day. We spend a 1 ½ hours just holding, rocking and playing with her-it’s blissful. She seems to really enjoy it. We’re not sure if we’re just imagining this, but today when they brought her to us, she seemed to know us & her face lit up like my 40th birthday cake!! J
FYI: Larry leaves Sunday and will arrive home Monday night in Philadelphia. He’ll be home for 2 ½ weeks then back to Kostanai!

Great pictures!!! Hope the cold goes away soon. Allyson and I will get to see Larry then, nice for us, hard for you and Norah. What time does Larry get in? Does he need us to pick him up? Allyson is supposed to move into the townhouse on monday. I will be there saturday. Just let us know.

Give Norah lots of love from all of us. We are so lucky to have her as part of our family!

Be safe, love you all, Deb

Hi guys! So glad to keep seeing new pictures of her! I am sure you are not imagining things - she knows who these cool people are who fall all over her every day!

I'm sure Norah does recognize you - because she can feel all the love for her when you visit each day. I can only imagine how hard it is to leave her and not bring her to the hotel with you.

Your journey to her has been so long already, just keep reminding yourselves that each day gets all of you that much closer to going home to Chester Springs! One day at a time, as this too shall pass and the payoff will be priceless!!!

Lov all of you lots!
XOXOX Jennifer

Hello Miss Norah! This is your Aunt Jennifer writing to you from Norwich, NY many miles away from you and your Mommy and Daddy. I just wanted to let you know I had a fabulous surprise at my door this afternoon - your cousins Brittany and Allyson! This means that all of your Whispell cousins are having a sleepover at my house tonight - with only one cousin missing - you! Brittany and Allyson had a safe trip driving across the US to get to PA but ironically came to see us from your house in PA to my house in NY by way of NJ - it's amazing how lost you can get from missing just one simple turn! They are both looking great and doing well. Allyson is starting an adventure of her own by having the courage to move across country and seems excited to move into her new "place" next week in Westchester. She likes her townhouse and roommate, April, and of course is excited that she will be living so close to you!

I spoke to your Great Aunt Sandy today and she wanted me to let you know that she checks the blog often and loves to see the daily postings and photos. Unfortunately she has had trouble posting any more comments so she and Uncle John asked that I send their thoughts and love to all of you! We will see Aunt Sandy and Uncle John tomorrow and will have cake to celebrate Uncle John turning 70 on Friday!

Always know that we love you like crazy and can't wait to meet you in person! We already feel so blessed to have you in our family!

Love, kisses, hugs, and tickles to you!

Aunt Jennifer
