Hello Everyone. We hope all is well in the good old US of A. We miss everyone very much and we’re just counting the days until we can bring Norah home. The weather here has been beautiful. Larry and I have gone to 3 different Russian restaurants on our own (The Beer House, The Bistro, and The Café). I had our translator write down a few dishes that I knew we would like. For instance the “Screaming Pig”, is a pork chop baked with onions, mushrooms and condensed milk. Some of the names of the dishes are quite humorous. We can’t wait to come home, go grocery shopping and just eat at home.
Norah is doing wonderfully. She has crawled a few steps, but still appears to become a bit frustrated as she can’t move as quickly as she would like to. She almost sits by herself too; she seems to be very strong.
Our translator Olesya is on vacation in Turkey. We are on our 7th day of “official visitation”. Our papers will be brought to the Judge on September 10th. We are hoping to have our first court date on Friday, September 14th or Monday, September 17th. Our final court date will follow on September 21st or 24th. Larry and I will then return to the states for approx. 5 weeks (or possibly less if we’re lucky). Then we will return to Kazakhstan to receive our precious little one.
Love to all,
Christy, Larry & Norah

Good morning from Oswego,
It was good to hear from you and especially to see a new picture of Norah. She's certainly growing before our very eyes. You mentioned she is frustrated because she can't creep fast enough, that tells me she'll be on her feet very soon. Then she will be busy, busy and so will you!
We went to Norwich yesterday to see Grandpa and Eunice. They are enjoying the blog reports that Uncle Bob and Carlee are sharing with them. For dinner we went to your favorite Norwich restaurant,Nina's. Everything was good as usual. From Nina's Uncle John and I went to see the 4-Fords.
Taylor and Logan had fun cleaning out my purse. I do believe you,Deb and Jennifer did that a few times too. Did you know that Taylor can swing high enough to touch the leaves on the tree behind their swing set? Wow! Logan is doing a great job of learning to pump his legs when swinging. We were happy to hear they had a wonderful vacation. Sounds like they found lots of fun things to do,especially the water slide.
How are you making out with Olysea on vacation? When will she return? The "sceaming pig" dish sounds delicious. A new recipe to add to your collection, Larry?
It's a beautiful day here and good weather is predicted for Labor Day. Uncle John is out picking some of his tomatoes and peppers.
Wish we could send some to you.
Love you so very much.
Take good care of each other.

P.S. I've been sharing photos of Norah with friends and they all think she is one of the most BEAUTIFUL babies they have EVER seen! :o)
Greetings from Binghamton to Kostanai!
Norah is such a "peanut". She may just forget about creeping or crawling and get up and RUN! Too bad you have to go through all of that red tape. And so long before you can all come home as a family. But we'll be patient. Apparently your mom and dad haven't seen all of the postings and pictures so I am going to print it all and send it too them. We have become local baseball(and fireworks) fans so we are going to a B-Mets game tonight for the last fireworks of the season. we miss you and look forward to when all the Abrams family comes home.
Uncle Bob and Carlee
Hey,
Great news about Norah. Yes, they get very frustrated when they can't move around. It's so exciting to watch them when they start to crawl.
We are having some beautiful weather here too. It's been sunny and 80's for the last week and is going to continue through this coming week. I think this is the nicest Labor Day weekend we have had in years.
Grandma Susan met us at the zoo today. We had a great time. They have 2 new baby giraffes. They were born within a month of each other at 6 feet tall!
We look forward to reading your blog this week!
Love You,
Pam
