Logan Man goes To School

Hi Logan Man! Buddy, it’s your first day of pre-school, how did that happen? I remember holding you just minutes after you where born...we were all so amazed to finally have a precious little boy in the family. Uncle Larry & I can hardly believe you’re such a big boy now! We are so proud of you. We know you’re going to love school. The playground will be so much fun, and just think of all the new friends you’ll meet. I can tell you first hand that you have a wonderful teacher. Can you believe that your teacher "Ms. Hannon" and I grew up together? She is such a nice lady & most of all she is so much fun-she loves to laugh. We can’t wait to hear about all of your grand adventures. Before we left to come to Kazakhstan, you told me you were going to "teach the baby how to run faster then anybody”. We think Norah is going to run like the wind once she learns a few pointers from you. Guess what, Norah also loves balls-just like you! We love you Logan & we miss you so much-please give Mommy, Daddy & Taylor a big hug & kiss from us. XOXO Aunt Christy

PS: Hello Everyone! Norah is crawling a little bit further each day, she is just beginning to put her fingers together when we do the "Eensey Weensey Spider" (her favorite past time). She is much more talkative and seems to be making more and more sounds. She absolutely loves it when Daddy tickles her, her laugh is priceless. We are anxiously waiting to hear which day our 1st court day will fall on as we begin the process of officially adopting our precious little “Smolyaninova Irina Smolyaninova”. The name placed first in this part of the world is usually the father’s last name, however, because Norah’s birth mother is single, she has her Mother’s name in first position and last.

Logan did start school today! He was more than happy to go as he encouraged his big sister to hurry up and get ready for school because he needed to go see Ms. Hannon. It didn't seem to phase him at all to say good bye to us as he was off and checking out his surroundings - lots of fun things to play with. It seemed his biggest disappointment of the morning was that he didn't get to go to the playground or the "basketball court" (the gymnasium). He did come home with paint all over the back of his shirt because while waiting in line to wash hands after painting someone else wiped their hand on him!
Taylor is still adjusting to the demands of being in Kindergarten all day and then attempting to do homework at night.... I think she just needs some more time to adjust to the routine. Both kids were in bed asleep by 7:00 tonight!

Hope Alex has fun at school Pam - I'm so glad that Norah is blessed with so many cousins who can teach her things from their experiences!

Hugs and Kisses to Miss Norah - we love you precious one! Can't wait to see all of you!!
XOXO

P.S. Thought you may want to know that the teeth that are coming in for Norah are the ones Taylor is losing. One already fell out and the other is loose!

Dreams do come true, thank God for that! We can see in all of your pictures how in love the three of you are, that touches all of us, and makes us cry happy tears.

As you are experiencing, they change so quickly, too quickly. Better get used to that!

Yes, PETER PAN IS BACK!!!!!!! That's funny that Jenn mentioned it, I just found it about 10 days ago. I got it on the base and took a big one to Mom and Dad. I think it's been six months, I guess we have all been waiting. It's funny how you get attached to things that you are brought up on.

When I talked to you yesterday Christy, you sounded really good. I know that you couldn't hear me well at all this time, sorry. It's great to hear you talk about Norah.

All is well in AZ and Allyson is well in PA. Still hot here, 107 today. Can't wait for it to cool down and open up the windows. Allyson texted me today, 70 in PA today, breezy. She said the leaves were starting to fall. I'm jealous. She enjoyed rubbing it in of course.

Love to all three of you. Give Norah lots of kisses and hugs from Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jim Miss you, be safe.
